Born in Tralee. During WW1 the Haverford served as a troopship and was torpedoed by a German submarine with the loss of 7 lives in 1917. She escaped and went back to port and underwent 6 months of repairs. Haverford was torpedoed again in 1918 but the Germans could not sink her. She was finally scrapped in 1925. Grave or Memorial Reference: In South part. Cemetery: Cockhill Catholic Cemetery in Donegal.
